A: No, the only light that we use is a low light that is attached to the camera.

A: Blue Moon Video Productions has four highly skilled videographers on staff; each videographer has been extensively trained in shooting our style in order to consistently deliver the highest quality of videos to our clients. Q: Can you shoot my video in HD?

Q: What kind of camera equipment do you use?

A: all of our cameras are professional broadcast quality equipment that can’t be purchased at retail stores like Best Buy or Circuit City. All of our cameras are very expensive and can only be purchased through a special dealer. The specific type of camera used at your event will depend on whether you want your event shot in Stantdard Definition or High Definition.

Q: What is a good running time for an edited wedding video?

A: No one wants to sit through three or four hours of video, but they do want to see the notable bits. The average edited movie including highlights, interviews, speeches and a photo montage is approximately one and a half hours. Because each event is different, the actual length will vary.

Q: Do you do photo montages?

A: Yes. We have several different styles of photo montages. Please contact us to discuss photo montage possibilities

Q: Are there a lot of special effects in the videos?

A: No. We only use them when needed in a very subtle and tasteful way and we never use any heavy animation graphics typically found in amateur videos.

Q: Can I have the raw footage?

Q: Who chooses the music for the video?

A: Music is very personal; not everyone likes the same genres and not every type of music is appropriate for every type of event. We encourage you to choose your own songs and/or select songs from our soundtrack. The songs on our soundtrack have been carefully selected to create the perfect mood when viewing the movie.

Q: Why do I need a second camera?

A: Having a second will give your video a completely different feel. It will create a cinematic experience for your movie. In the case of a wedding ceremony, one camera will capture the bride and groom, while a second camera will capture the expressions of your guests.

Q: How many years of experience do the camera operators have?

A: Our camera operators range in experience from ten to twenty-six years. All are trained extensively to shoot high quality videos consistently in our style.

Q: I also need a photographer. Can you provide one?

A: We have a few excellent photographers to recommend.

Q: When will I receive my finished video?

A: The average turnaround time is eight to twelve weeks depending on the package you have selected.
